Trypsin/EDTA Solution (0.05%)
Product Description
Trypsin/EDTA Solution (0.05%) (BVXTE-03) is a sterile, readytouse cell dissociation reagent formulated for gentle detachment of adherent cells from tissue culture surfaces. The solution contains porcine trypsin (0.05%) complexed with EDTA (0.53 mM) in phosphatebuffered saline (PBS). The EDTA chelates divalent cations (Ca2, Mg2) that are required for cellsubstrate and cellcell adhesion, enhancing the proteolytic activity of trypsin. This product is optimized for routine subculturing of endothelial cells as well as many other adherent cell types. Intended Use: For research use only. Not for human or clinical applications.
